Tsunami Evacuation
About a week and a half ago I was woken up at 4am by my roommate telling me and my other roomie that there was a tsunami warning and that we needed to get up and pack. So we did. By 4:30am we were walking from our house to campus for the evacuation. We went to Hale 2, (one of the dorms for girls) and stayed in the lounge for a while. After a bit, Brooke and I went to breakfast at the cafeteria and then went back to the Hale. We stayed in someone's dorm room during the warning. (the warning was because of the earthquake in Chile the night before) Thankfully the tsunami waves didn't come, and we were fine and able to go home by 2 or 2:30pm. It was a long day, but memorable. I'm so glad we didn't get hit, but I hope the people in Chile are doing alright! They need help and prayers.
