Ward Waterpark Fun

Aloha! Yesterday I went with my ward to the waterpark that's on the island, and it was amazing! It was my first time to the one here. It was a beautiful, hot sunny day and perfect for having fun in the water. Thankfully I was able to have fun on the rides with a great group of friends. I'll Be Home For Christmas!

In 6 days I will be flying home!!! I am SO happy to be coming home for the break and for Christmas! It will be so nice just to be home, and to see friends and family. I love my home! Haha, but I love being in Hawaii too... There's no place like home, but paradise isn't too bad. :) I really do feel very blessed to be able to go to school here at BYU-Hawaii, it is such a wonderful, happy, loving atmosphere. I live in a tiny little town that has many LDS members. The school campus is small compared to many, but I'm able to get to know people individually and see them more often than I would at a bigger school. I love the Honor Code, as well as how most people follow the Church commandments as well, it's so nice to not have to worry about hearing cussing or swearing, and many other things that seem more normal in the most of the rest of the world. I love this island too, it's very beautiful, and is even more beautiful when I'm able to enjoy it with my good friends here. It's sad that I'll only have about 4 months left here once I come back after Christmas... but I'm so thankful for my experiences here! It's been hard at times, and amazing at times. It has made me even more grateful for my amazing home and family in AZ, I love them with all my heart.

I love Christmas time!

This time of the year is so wonderful, I love it! I love listening to Christmas music, drinking hot chocolate, and getting to sleep with my big comforter feather blanket all night. I am so excited, in 10 days I'm going to be flying home!! It will be so nice to see my family and friends back home. Plus Christmas! It's going to be awesome :)
